On sticker on front: "1996 project by former Machine Head and Vio-Lence guitarist Phil Demmel! Re-Release with 4 previously unreleased bonus tracks". Liner Notes from booklet: "After Sean Killian retired from trash legends Vio-Lence, the remaining members vowed to continue as a 4 piece. With (Vio founding member) Phil Demmel taking over the bulk of the lead vocal duties alongside guitar player Ray Vegas and drummer Mark Hernandez adding their own vocal parts, they created a diverse, triple-aural-assault that adhered with the band's aggresive / technical / trash / groove sound. The self-titled release includes 3 songs that were written while the band was still Vio-Lence. Sean Killian wrote the lyrics to the songs Breed, Again and Shooter and actually recorded the songs just before quitting in 1993. Demmel went into the studio and re-recorded the vocals on those songs as the band went on to ignite a local buzz. On the strenght of that, Mascot Records sighned the band and they entered O Street Studios in Antioch, CA to record the 11 songs that complete this album".
