The Deccan Traps from England and their playful, opulent, yet always wonderfully melodic rock are a force to be reckoned with. Neil Fairclough (bass), Lois Dagnall (backing vocals), and John Dagnall (piano/guitar) began writing songs about a decade ago, and with Ricardo Afonso (vocals), they finally found a fitting frontman. On "Dream Of A Thousand Nights," a certain Brian May, who once made rock history with Queen, also makes an appearance on guitar. Incredibly high-quality, and above all, authentic, genuine music with depth. The dreamy "Spellbound" is the ultimate recommended track. Two songs are also included as live studio versions.
