Limited to 3,300 hand-numbered copies.
Issued in a slipcase with its opening on the left side, and has "The Original Source" hype sticker on the front of the shrink-wrap. Each individual LP is housed in a matte finish gatefold jacket with liner notes in German, English and French, and images of the original recording documentation on the interior. They also have an A4 size insert that has details about 'The Original Source' series on one side and an image of the tape box. Each disc is housed in a plain black poly-lined inner sleeve.
Each of the four LPs has a new catalogue number on the spine, an extended version of the same number, preceded by 00289, on the bottom of the back sleeve, and a legacy catalog number on the top of the back sleeve. The labels carry the same catalog numbers as the spines.
Plating marks "1+" (side A), "2X" (side B), "1|" (side C+D), "1||" (side G) and "2|=" (side H) in runouts are mirrored.
Alban Berg's "Drei Orchesterstücke" (side E) and Anton Webern's "Fünf Sätze" (side G) were mixed and cut from 4-track recordings, all other recordings were 8-track. The respective comments in the runouts of side G and side H seem to have been swapped.
