Aprašymas
For this reissue, Decca removed the umbrella logo both from the front of the box and in the booklet. In the track listings, instead of the umbrella symbol used to denote Brendel's favorite recordings, the dagger symbol (†) is used.
This 114-CD box includes:
Part 1 Mozart, Bach and Haydn
Part 2 Beethoven
Part 3 The Romantics
Part 4 Chamber, Lieder and Live recordings
Plus A 220-page illustrated book with a new appreciation by Mischa Donat, indices of works by composer and recording date, new and archive photographs and Alfred Brendel’s personal recollections on his career.
This compilation ℗ 2015 Decca Music Group Limited
© 2015 Decca Music Group Limited
The packaging features an outer box, with four smaller boxes inside which serve to both subdivide and house the CD card sleeves into the above-mentioned four Parts.
In the booklet, the foreword, new appreciation and personal recollections are in English, French and German.
